Lone Pine
This rug was hooked by a student in the
recent landscape class who wishes to remain anonymous. She used
many textures in scraps that were selected according to value.
I'm proud to say she bested the teacher.
Various cuts.
In the collection of the hooker. |
 Early
Riser
Lorraine Duncan hooked this wonderful rooster using a #12 cut
and loads of terrific overdyed textures. What a splendid array
of feathers. She really enjoyed using wide cut wool, it lets the
fabric shine in our rugs. Great job Lorraine.

Girl Talk
Suzanne Rayner took a class on using scraps and this is her
excellent result.
One of her favourite things to hook are birds.I wonder what
those robins are talking about ? She used many interesting wool
pieces and different cuts to create the rug. Take a good look at
birds and all they contain.
Sue, you did good !

Trip to France
Doreen and Peter Lumb took a trip to France and Doreen has
commenorated it with a rug. Peter drew it and Doreen worked hard
to bring her memories to life. Note her interesting border and
the clever way she did her arches.
Well done, Doreen.
